Kathleen M. Hosfeld

A strategist and coach, Kathleen Hosfeld has designed strategies, brand and marketing programs to build bridges of trust, loyalty and mutuality between clients and their customers. Using research-based customer insights and team strategy processes, she has helped companies, as one client said "do a great deal more than we expected and achieve unexpectedly positive results." Her clients include Fortune 500 and middle market companies, social venture and non-profit organizations. Prior to founding Hosfeld & Associates in 1989, she held positions with Ogilvy & Mather specializing in financial services marketing. She has since contributed to the Center for Ethical Leadership's study, "The Leadership of Sustainability."

With Jenny Mish she wrote "Marketing Before and After Sustainability," a summary of best practices beyond "green marketing." She is author of Listening | A Strategy and Marketing blog where she writes about the emerging model of marketing practiced by high-performing sustainable organizations. She holds a Bachelor's Degree from Pacific Lutheran University.


Ron Benton

Ron Benton brings practical expertise to accelerate the critical conversations, decisions, and processes essential to creating strategic business value. Ron has guided high technology businesses and sales organizations in identifying and aligning to achieve billions of dollars in revenue opportunities and over $1B in cost reductions.

Ron is President of Ron Benton & Associates, Inc., and has two decades of experience consulting to leaders of global businesses and their functional leaders. He and his network of experienced industry consultants deliver a broad spectrum of services, including strategy development, business performance measurement, strategic decision acceleration, organizational alignment and governance, business transformation, and customer experience strategy consulting.

Since launching his own firm in 2006, Ron has worked extensively with a variety of firms, primarily in Europe and Asia. Clients include many insurance, commercial banking, and retail banking units of a global financial services firm, a Norwegian manufacturer, and a UK utility. He also serves as a knowledge expert in performance measurement for Partner Programs at the Institute for Management Development.

Previously, Ron directed Hewlett-Packard's business strategy, organizational acceleration, and performance measurement internal consulting practices where he and Lynda partnered on many consulting projects. He led the definition and implementation efforts for three company-wide HP performance measures. Ron personally oversaw consulting engagements with many enterprise and consumer product groups and divisions from $50M to over $5B in revenue, as well as with emerging country and region leadership teams.

Ron is an innovator who shares a patent pending for a framework that assesses an organization's capability in delivering customer value. During the HP-Compaq merger, he co-designed the new company's Quality / Total Customer Experience management system and strategy. Earlier, he led the team that created and implemented HP's global competitive customer measurement system. Ron holds a Masters in Management from the J. L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a Bachelor's Degree from Pacific Lutheran University.

His career and consulting practice benefit from significant executive development experiences from the Institute for Management Development In Lausanne, Switzerland; Conversant in Boulder, Colorado; Strategic Decisions Group in Menlo Park, California; the National Technological University in Fort Collins, Colorado; and HP's Advanced Development Program for executives in both Asia and North America.

Away from work, Ron has served as a City Council President, Health District Vice-Chair, and Board Chair of both a Senior Center and an organization serving developmentally disabled infants and adults. Beyond family, service, and work his passions include climbing, skiing, ski mountaineering, and working across cultures.


Mike Northcott

With over 25 years of global business innovation experience, Mike Northcott balances his personal consulting work with philanthropic fundraising.  A lifelong pragmatist, Mike strives to cut through the Gordian knots of jargon and operational complexity that slow decision-making and the delivery of results. Having worked across almost every business function, from sales to social and environmental sustainability, he has developed an appreciation for the cultures and languages that make up a company. His areas of concentration are in strategy development, large group alignment, and new business opportunity development.

In addition to his consulting work, Mike has extensive personal experience leading and managing teams to success. This hands-on experience informs his consulting engagements and allows him to guide his clients from concepts through implementation. Clients have included international high-technology businesses in computing, medical equipment, as well as NFL franchises.

In his career Mike has lived and worked in Europe, Asia Pacific, and North America. His philanthropic endeavors take him to China on a regular basis.
